Hydrogen LAUNCHPAD
Fuel the future with green hydrogen innovation
Next cohort dates: online training can be undertaken in July & August, with live sessions every Thursday in September (11th, 18th and 25th), each lasting one hour.
Online learning, fully funded - the only commitment is your time.
Green hydrogen is set to revolutionise how we live, work, and power our world. But to unlock its full potential, including its use as ammonia for storage, transport, and fuel, we need new ideas, technologies, and fresh approaches.
If you’re working on a clean hydrogen idea, whether it’s a product, service, strategy, or start-up, this hands-on programme will help you develop it into a viable business opportunity. Whether you’re a researcher, innovator, or entrepreneur, we’ll give you the tools, support, and connections to thrive in the growing hydrogen economy.
This training is delivered by SETsquared as part of the GW-SHIFT programme, a powerhouse partnership connecting academic, civic, and industry leaders across South Wales and the South West to accelerate the hydrogen transition. The training is funded by EPSRC.
You’ll learn how to:
• Shape and test your idea using the build-test-learn framework
• Understand what value you bring to your customers and how to communicate it
• Understand your customers vs users and build customer personas
• Prototype your concept and assess feasibility and value chains
• Explore revenue models, pricing, and market opportunities
• Build a compelling, viable business model
The training takes place through self-paced, online learning, so you can access it at a time that suits you. This is backed up with 1-hour live coaching sessions with our experienced trainer. By taking part in the programme, you’ll also be given exclusive access to the SETsquared Innovation Platform, a tailored online space for those innovating in hydrogen to explore collaborations.
